In 1987, a small team of executives who had previously worked in manufacturing, production, distribution, marketing, finance and general management in industrial and service enterprises joined forces to form Jamieson Corporate Services.

More recently Jamieson Corporate Services joined forces in an alliance with mid-market corporate advisory firm Endeavour Capital to provide our clients with additional depth and breadth of capabilities across mid-market sales, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations and exit planning.

Background on Jamieson Corporate Services

The Jamieson team’s experience over many years in business sales, mergers and acquisitions in public listed and private companies offers a scope and depth of practical experience uniquely suited to advising the proprietors of medium sized private SME businesses – something no other business broker or accounting firm in Australia offers. Refer to our Blog article on public company-owned engineering company sale.

Our team’s hands-on experience as business owners and managers enables us to draw upon highly practical knowledge when consulting to trading businesses and advising clients on business sales, mergers, acquisitions and values.

We are selective in the business broker projects accepted, generally focusing on only a small number of substantial projects at any time. This selectivity allows us to provide superior depth of analysis and quality of information presentation for business sales, mergers and acquisitions. Feedback from our clients – buyers and sellers – has confirmed that this is a distinguishing factor compared to other business brokers and accounting firms operating in the same areas of the market.

We pride ourselves on our consultative approach, which ensures continuous communication throughout each project we take on and enables us to achieve results in an agreed time frame.

Jamieson always provides meaningful business value estimates to enable business owners to decide whether to proceed to sell a business. For buyers, we provide an independent service to advise on fair market values before commitment to buy a business. In initial discussions with sellers preliminary business appraisals are often offered without charge.

Our Principals are Associated M&A Advisers at CBA Cross Border Associates, cba.associates. CBA is a Global Network of over 200 business consultants providing international access to more than 100 countries for cross border transactions. Each Principal is licensed as a business agent with Endeavour Capital holding a business agent corporation licence. Jamieson and Endeavour principals are also members of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB) and hold the Certified Practising Business Brokers (CPBB) qualification from the AIBB.
